Hello all.

First of all, a huge, massive thank-you to The Program Initiative for inviting ANSDM on their Mercury:_[PHASE 1] tour. It was the most incredible experience and shall definitely be happening again, only bigger next time. These guys are something else and I recommend everybody checks them out live and listen to their stunning album.

Many thanks too all the fans, friends and people we all met whilst on tour, not to mention the venues and promoters who made it all happen. Your support is invaluable and could not have happened without.

As the tour started, the pre-album EP ‘We Are;’ was first released to listen for free online and available from the tour gigs. Now it is available to purchase as a CD or MP3 download from the music section on this site. Each CD is hand made individually and just a little bit different and unique in comparison to normal cd’s in your collection.

If you like the EP, then please spread the word and encourage others to listen and buy – everything counts.

Moving forward; work will begin on completing the remaining of the new, untitled album. Keep updated on this site and on the Facebook page for more information.

Hello there.

Having had a little overhaul, the site is now complete and a little more interactive and rounded for the coming months. I’ll be updating this blog more often too, and now that it is connected to facebook it means updating news is a little easier. A few new features here and there, including a listing of live dates and song previews. Once again, thank you to my main man James Haskin for all the site work.

This month has been a pretty interesting month so far. Played Pulse Festival, followed by another slot supporting the Program Initiative at the Southampton Joiners – both of which went pretty well. Next month holds a performance at Music In The City presents Sound and Vision at the Bargate Astage monument (for those who are local, its the gallery up the stairs of the actual Bargate monument). Put on by Morgan from the fabulous Remnant Psyche, it is a free entry show and it features various electronica and instrumentation alongside video shorts/VJ’s and other visual treats. Should be pretty special – see the gigs page for more info.

In the works is the possibility of joining the wonderful Program Initiative on their tour next year – so watch this space. Also check them out, as they are definately the most unique and interesting act I have had the pleasure of seeing.

The new album is heavily underway. For those of you who have been to the various live shows so far would have already heard much of the new material that will feature on the album. In fact the majority of the live set is mostly new, with only a few oldies remaining (Nest, WTR).

Progress wise, 7 songs have been fully done, only a little more to do with the writing process. I made the decision to switch my DAW a month or so back and have found the material really shines and sounds much better than I thought possible. So once the technical parts are all finished – hopefully in the next month or two, I will be recording the finalised bass parts for the whole album. Some of the featured tracks include ‘Drone’, ‘The Infinite’, ‘No Worry’, ‘Inside’, ‘We Are;’, ‘End Point’, ‘The Movement’ among others.

Once finished, the album will be available from this site and at live dates, but when it will be is unclear. But as soon it as it is ready, you will know! So for those that haven’t yet, or for anyone stumbling on here who’s interest has got them this far, join facebook and the reverbnation profiles, or whatever social network you favour. It is all pretty exciting, and I can’t wait for the finished product to be out and listenable.

Keep updated on here and facebook, and I’ll start to update more often with an album progress diary.

Cheers all, love.

Dan

Once more my webspace has gone under transition, but now a new and improved site awaits in the build up to a new album and is all connected to Facebook, Twitter and the likes.

I shall start to update this blog on a more regular basis now that things are working, and shall use it to keep a diary of sorts for the new album as it emerges and with the wonders of modern technology it will appear on everything Ninjaslob related.

News, news, news…..

Short notice show at the Red Lion, Southampton supporting the fabulous Almeida this Monday. Excitement for Pulse is also building, and I am aiming for the bulk of new album material to be written and in a state to be ready to record around September/October so all the final recording sessions will be done in one go. Sounding really great so far, and really different.

Ciao
